Graduated in Natural Sciences, environmental hiking guide and scuba diving instructor, I work in scientific communication.

My images and stories have been published in main sector magazines, such as National Geographic (Italy, where for example one of my photos of a seahorse was published on the cover of the June 2024 issue for the collective project The Wild Line), BBC Wildlife, Nat’Images, Unterwasser and Focus Wild, and I am a scientific consultant for Geo on Rai3.

I discovered a new species of spider and my photos have been awarded in international competitions, including three times at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

I regularly hold lectures and courses in biology and photography, and I teach at the Master in scientific communication at the University of Insubria.

Author of several books on conservation, I work on long-term projects in collaboration with protected areas and also in the field of environmental education.
